In a few days, we’ll be officially saturated in night all around this Northern Hemisphere. We’ll be struggling through the day with the least amount of light out of the entire year, we’ll be waiting until almost 9am for it in the morning, and wishing it farewell by 4:25pm in the afternoon. So much dark, particularly where I call home in Montana, but that doesn’t mean it’s all hopeless, it doesn’t mean we cannot be the precise thing that we lack.

Today, I wanted to think more on light, and I wanted to prompt you to become it, to remind yourself you’ve always been it. Let’s do this thing, let’s toss some shine into the inky well of our Winter Solstice.
