Somehow we’ve bumbled our way into a brand new year. It feels very much like the year that we just endured, feels like we’re all dealing with stuff we’d very much rather not be dealing with. Still we persist, still we ramble on.

I’m back with another deeply behind-the-scenes peek into my private life, which is both oddly liberating and also just odd to share, but I like it, and I think most of you do too. It’s fun showing the unvarnished, the real, the nuts and bolts of what makes up my time when I’m not here with you. Real, isn’t that what it’s all pushing back to in the face of so much AI Generated slop? Real. Just real.

January, could be summed up (and I’ll dive much deeper below) very simply in a few words: Puzzles, Friends, Weirdly-Warm-Weather, Museums, Tattoos, and Walks.

On with it, and as a reminder, you’re all very much invited to join us a bit closer to the warm little Signal Fire camp we’ve built. We’d love to have you.
