Love love! Canon Beach is on my bucket list. :) These photos make me want rain -- we just got another 8" of snow here.

My fave photo is the one of the little feather, all damp in the sand.

And Sarah is a total babe!! Oh, excuse me, I mean, "Sahra." XD

I read a meme that said, "I was in an interview to work as a Starbucks barista and they asked me how I would spell Stefanie with a 'ph.' I spelled it 'Phtefanie" and they just went ahead and made me regional manager."

Your story made me think of that and LOL

Cannon Beach is heaven on earth. You will LOVE IT. And yes, Sarah is. She just shines.

Stunning photos (as is so often the case) and such a palpable reverence for the natural world. It truly is magical the way animals appear to guide and teach (if/when we’re open to those pathways and lessons)❤️

Thank you so much!

You both look good in Oregon! Favorite pic was Sarah under the goonies banner. Love it! Makes me just a bit envious….The only stretch of coast in that part of the world I have visited is up in Washington at Ruby Beach / part of Olympic National Park. Rainy or sunny, it’s was an 6 mile adventure to a mystical environment with reddish sand, tide pools, amazing stacks of driftwood and the iconic sea stacks ( like in Oregon!). The beach's name comes from a red garnet mineral, found in the sand. Which begs the question, why not Garnet Beach? lol

Oregon weather suits us, we hate the heat hahaha. And yes, I agree, what a silly mis-name!

I was at Cannon Beach in October 2000 and loved every minute. As a girl who had lived her whole life up to that point on the southwest coast of Florida, the Gulf of Mexico was my playground, with it's hot, sandy beaches. To step onto a Pacific Northwest beach that was cold, and surrounded by mammoth rocks, was life altering.

YES! It's shocking to the system in the best ways.
