I know not if she’ll read this, I know not if she’ll pop in, especially not today, but if so:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADELA!  I’m lucky enough to be a step-dad to one of the raddest people I’ve ever met, and today she is 16 years old and I am having trouble believing that.  I remember when she was 16 months old and fit in my lap like a tiny thing.  How time flies, and it’s in the flying that comes the forgetting, at least for us, those doing the soaring.  This is what I wanna hear from you all today, and I cannot wait.
