Thank you for the link to “Framework For Letting It Go (Whatever “It” Is)”. It is an interesting writing as well as the entire website/project called “socurious” by founder Justin Shiels. It sparked a thought from my contrarian brain about how we manage to process/recognize/retain the better moments in life where things start to go well for a change. At least they stop going wrong. Is it the same process as letting things go or something else? At least it would be an interesting topic to explore with the community.
I loved that article for its simplicity. I think the two are tied in, the more we let go, the more capacity we have to hold On to the good things. We're built for forgetting these, and holding the bad, and it's something I think requires a lot of practice to transform.
This week’s list really hit home, thank you, truly. From one creative soul that sees what could be in this world and yearns for better, and, perhaps naively at times, genuinely believes in that possibility, I hope that you are able to keep that defiant spark of hope alive. I hope more are able to find their own sparks of hope, and in time as that hope grows change will become inevitable.
You're so very welcome! I'll keep fighting, keep the spark going, all I can. I'm always in to help others find THEIR sparks too, and that's what this place is, just trying to help others see the lights.
Awesome post! I can't wait to read the articles you suggested and I've been hesitating to watch The Madison, not really sure why, but I will now. Thank you for continuing to be a creative, hopeful inspiration! Have a safe and wonderful trip to Ireland!
Tyler, my goodness, I have always always known that you are a good human... from the time you were born, through all the times you teased and harmlessly tormented your sisters.... this I have always known.... my heart rings with happiness that you have found a place in your poetry, your writings, your conversations, your interactions with others.... every piece of you comes from the heart, complete with each emotion you experience at each time you meander in your brain.... you work, work hard and I am so so proud of you. Each time I read something you have written or listened to your thoughts, I am once again amazed by your insight, your ability to often, not always be open to both sides of the "story". You are celebrated by so many and I feel sad for those who don't have the opportunity, knowledge, time or whatever to "hear" you. Please all you subscribers take time to share his writings. You will be doing whoever you seek an enormous favor.
One of my biggest hope is that one day you will truly be "seen" by those in your life that judge you harshly ... or quietly and they will realize their mistake....🥰🥰

Happy Days
Change can be better;
When it arrives with warning.
Like a slow sunrise.
Hard grind, I push on.
Yet the soft, quiet moments,
Offer brief reprieve.
Dare I to speak now
Or drown my joy as deeply
As I sink the pain?
What makes easy hard?
When pain is a well-known friend;
And pleasure is queer.
Tear or sudden smile -
Both are fleeting, both the same,
In the quiet mind.
Soft, calm, steady breath,
Quiet joy in letting go -
Never yours to keep.
Good, bad - both will pass.
To be patient and persist;
Gentle peace follows.

Thank you so much for this Marmalade. This means so much more than you know to me. I love you so much and thank you for always showing me the way.
