I could try much harder to not worry in this lifetime.
Beautiful. It’s so comforting to know there are others out there with this belief. This perspective on life. It’s hard feeling like you’re outside the typical “lifestyle” that our society leads, but ultimately it’s more freeing and more joyous when you let go of the expectations the world has and simpler follow your own.
It's so true that we get swept up in the rat race of life, trying to keep up a frenetic pace, all the while saying to ourselves, "I'll take that trip when I have more time", or "I'll try that new hobby when I can better afford it". Then when we stop to take stock of life, we find that time is passing us by.
My dad always said he wanted to travel, but would wait for retirement. He never got the chance. He died suddenly in his sleep of a massive heart attack at 56.
If there's a dream you want to chase or activity you want to try, do it now. Don't wait. What are you waiting for?
