A few days ago was another beautiful Pagan holiday, one that has gotten a really, really bad rap since that insane movie Midsommar came out and showed a whole lot of absolutely batshit crazy death and dismemberment. I won’t be asking anyone here to wrap themselves in a flower gown, I won’t ask any of you with a bit of advanced age to be hurling themselves off cliffs, no, not today. You’re not in the middle of the forest in Sweden folks, you’re safe, so stick around.
That’s right, Litha, or Midsummer, was a pagan holiday that celebrates the Summer solstice and the official beginning of Summer. It’s a day known for intense light (to chase) as well as being the longest day in the entire year. As a bit of a break after all the hard work you’ve put into the last month, I wanted to take it easy, so today will be a much needed reprieve, though I’d love to still hear from you. Here goes…
