I like the picture of Gilly with the stack of trees. At first I thought it was some weird bush I had never seen. Then I realized what it was and was a little sad. Then I read the text (I scroll through most of the pics larger before reading) and accepted the cutting down had a good purpose.
I too love watching things grow. I have a mini garden going on on my patio. Some fresh herbs and tomatoes and watermelon that are all growing like crazy and I don’t know how it will all turn out in the too small space or what I’m going to do with it when the fruits arrive, but I’m having fun with it.
I love the parade and that the kids get involved. Such a good idea. I didn’t realize I miss parades. My town (not small) used to do one every summer but stopped about 20 years ago because there was no longer a good place to do it.
Love these ... especially the one Gilly and the flower [not to be confused with the flower and Gilly] such a lovely shot.
That was a fave of mine too!
It’s easy to pick a favorite photo this month. It’s the ones with the arrowleaf balsamroot flower and Gilly in the background.
Dogs in life’s background.
Silent, devoted witness,
Love is never staged.
I am so envious so often of Gilly's life :)
I love that you love that we love them 🥰

As always thank you for sharing.
As always, thank you for looking! I am so in love with wild things, the way they change, grow, shift, become. I'm so glad you are too!
Late to comment but I'm grateful, nonetheless. Thank you again for sharing these!
Absolutely always. :)
