Five years ago, my best good buddy Ash Raymond James and I decided to embark on a fun project (that will be returning for a season 2, worry you not!) as a way to cope with the suffocating misery that was Covid Lockdown.
That project was Somewhere on the Spectrum, a video podcast/interview series where we discussed a slew of things, but the main purpose was to show people what it was like to be somewhere on the Autism Spectrum as an adult in the world today.
There are a lot of new faces here in the 5 years since we started that project, a lot of new people who have subscribed to this Signal Fire, and I realized many of you might not really know much about me, my neurodiversity, and what it’s like to be Autistic today. So, for today’s Matchbook, I wanted to share with you this little dive into the Spectrum and really give you some insight below on what it IS to live this way. I’d love to invite you deeper.
