We’re not often told we can reinvent, we can start anew. We’re not told we get to decide, each day, each hour, what we wish to be, how we wish to seem. We can though, and what’s more, we should.

Is there a better time than this? This second Tuesday of this first month of this brand new year? We’re still not used to writing 2026, we’re still not used to calling this year new.
