Yes yes yes to micro acts of joy. Sometimes we just expect joy to seek us out but I'm finding it much more rewarding to do the seeking of joy myself. It tends to snowball. One of my very favorite things to do is support my friends following their dreams.

It'll be much cooler there at around 70, here it's been 90 and sweltering! Your balmy 39 sounds like freezing to me.
