Sparks For A Brighter Life

August, to me, has always felt like a halfway month, halfway between a season, halfway between a time, a transition month where what was begins to cease, and what will be begins to arise. Perhaps it’s the (much written about here on Signal Fire) fact that it’s the “back-to-school” month here, perhaps it’s because it’s usually highlighted with scorching heat at the onset of the month, but often ends with bizarre early frost and freeze. At least here, at least for me. Nevertheless, all that got me thinking and wondering, and wanting to challenge myself in a unique way.
