Folks, I have some fun news, and it requires sending you this little email tonight, on a Friday night. I decided to sweeten the pot for you all, and I decided that if you’re like me, you may often be a bit busy and so reading a long essay can be time you just don’t have to spend, as much as you’d like to. SO, I decided to try to remedy this, but offering up this little addition:
From now on, every The Sunday Edition of Signal Fire, will have at the top, me reading the essay to you in Podcast form. That’s right, it’s gonna be something where you just hit play, go about your business with your speakers on or your earbuds in, and in 5-10 minutes, you’ll hear the entire newsletter read aloud to you by me. I’ll just be hoping you don’t hate my voice, and secretly be thinking you do along the way. Bottom line, you’re worth it. As always, the post itself will be included below for those who prefer to read along, or just read without my silly voice scraping your eardrums, but I thought this would be a fun way to make things a little more intimate around here.
To start it off, here is last week’s The Sunday Edition, about emptying all of ourselves, to show you what you’re in store for. One thing to note: I’m going to be doing some talking before the actual essay itself is read each week, some backstory behind it, some explanation and expounding eventually, and I’m not sure when but you’ll obviously hear it when it comes. For now though, the essay itself. :)
