Over the last few years, I’ve been blessed through my work to meet thousands of you, all over the planet. I’ve been so lucky to get to know so many different people in so many different places, doing so many different creative things to keep their lives spinning, to keep their hearts thumping. I’ve also had the amazing and fantastic fortune to work with a handful of companies that are doing positively wonderful things, running beautiful charities, donating time, money, goods, to all sorts of different people in need. One of these, one of the earliest that reached out before I was even something worth reaching out to, was Head Regal. To say they make blankets is an understatement, for in truth, they make these heavenly bits of cloud cloth that make you instantly feel like you’re home. They also use portions of their earnings to run a charity called Cozy Courage, in which they make and donate money and blankets to children battling cancer, for use during treatment, while home, or anywhere they need a little extra comfort.
As I’m a man of Viking origins, when Amber reached out and asked if she could send us a special faux-fur new blanket, aptly named the Lagertha, Sarah and I couldn’t resist, and couldn’t resist giving it a photoshoot it deserved. I know she’ll be red as a beet reading this post, I know she’ll roll her eyes and call me crazy, but when I speak of being blessed, aiming my camera at this beauty, this warrior of joy that I get to call my wife, I am reminded in a way that nothing else can. I am so lucky, and it’s ok to call that out.
Braids over shoulder,
blanket wrapped around your neck,
warrior of joy.

Sarah looks stunning!! And that blanket? Wow!!! Gotta check them out! And Sarah, I loved your repost of this where you talk about your silver hair. It is GORGEOUS!! One more thing we’ve learned during this past year. 😊 We can be more natural and live with toxic hair dyes.
Beautiful!!!
