Sparks For A Brighter Life

One of my best friends in the world, the incredibly talented musician Gregory Alan Isakov, and I have long had something in common that fuels so much of our art, something we only found one name for:

Window starin’.

We find ourselves, often, sitting, staring out a window, and letting our brains completely go. Where they go, we don’t really know, but when they come back I believe they carry with them the answers we were seeking, the words we were needing, the music we were always making.
