I wouldn't mind getting two, but I guess one email would leave inboxes less cluttered

I could always use the extra happy mail, so two is great for me - but we will all be happy regardless!

I think either would be fine - however one email would have less chances of getting lost. Personally. my inbox is especially cluttered these days.

Two are fine with me. I have the option to read them when the timing is right for me. And who knows when you’ll just happen to write the exact words we need to hear in that moment.

I'd be fine with two but do agree it's easier to get lost. Your emails end up going to my promotions (gmail) box along with emails from DSW, Groupon and Joe Biden...so it's easier to get lost in that. I wonder if, as a subscriber, using this means via substack allows emails to be filtered to my primary inbox? Not sure. TL, DR; if there's any way on your end to have these emails not classed as promotional, feels like a better chance of being seen.

There is a way! According to google: “ One of the simplest ways to move an email is to left-click and hold on the email and drag it from the promotions tab over to the Primary tab. Releasing the mouse will drop the email into the primary tab. After it is dropped, Gmail will ask if you wish to make the change permanent.”

One email would cut down the clutter. And it wouldn’t bother me if that day, the email comes at a different time than usual - I usually check my email in the morning then again about 12-2, so sometimes it’s nice to have a little variation of when stuff comes in.

First of all, any TKG or CotL emails in my inbox would be a welcome surprise, since lately I find myself muttering 'oh, crap' when I open the majority of my emails. (I'm a delight.)

I think sending one email, with perhaps a tweaked subject line (i.e., Haiku + Typewriter) on the days where there's a poem involved, would be the most efficient and easiest for you.

Emails would be great for those of us trying to stay away from social media....you know, those of us who, while pacifists, are the only non-Trump voting member of our immediate and extended families, and sometimes find yourself daydreaming of throwing flaming bags of dog poo at certain yard signs. I've said too much.

PS- if there's a way you can do a Patreon-type email service (I'm not sure one exists), I think there'd be a lot of us interested. You give so much to fans of your work; I often feel guilty having so many of your poems saved on my phone.

Thank you so much! What do you mean a Patreon type email service? Educate me, if you please?

I was just thinking that you could do a 'pay for weekly poem emails' type of thing, and as soon as a posted that, I remembered you had a monthly-type subscription service- one that I meant to sign up for and just now remembered. Geez. If you see my brain wandering about, let me know, because, good grief. Please disregard that part of my post. *Facepalm.*

OK! So, it seems like it's kinda either or for almost all of you, so I think, maybe, for ease for me, I may do them separately going forward, that way you're not having to scroll through one MASSIVE email with everything on there. You get a breakfast, and a dinner, as it were...or a brunch and a dessert...or a whatever and a whatever, you get the point. It may be 2 emails that day, but they'll be separated, and it'll make it more fun. That work for everyone?
