Can you take Tylenol? It helps me a little. Also ... do you know a good massage therapist? Weekly neck/face/head massages help keep my headaches a bit more manageable. Feel better.
Max out whatever your acetaminophen and diphenhydramine dose for your weight (usually 2tabs of Tylenol&Benadryl) and take 400 mg of magnesium oxide. That’s the script a headache specialist gave me when I couldn’t take my usual regimen. It may just keep you from throwing up, or create a wee placebo. The magnesium does the heavy lifting anyway. But has side effects, especially when repeated every four hours.
Beth, I’m sorry to hear you suffer from headaches as well, but glad you have found something to curb them and can access it. Much love to you as you walk this road.
Headaches/migraine are like colds, there are a million different presentations and triggers. For me, citrate can worsen some of the nausea, and isn’t as effective. I don’t normally suggest care as every struggle is so personal. My road has been long, the cocktail without NSAIDs I picked up along the way. I pray you find your key to have as many pain free days as possible. If I could take your suffering, I would.
Sending loving healing for those pesky headaches! ❤️🩹

Thank you, Megan. I started getting headaches about three years ago and they can be BAD! The Tylenol takes the edge off.
I use magnesium citrate. Would you suggest trying magnesium oxide?
