Societal norms to get rid of, I agree with people need to stop saying yes to things they have no intention of doing. So many times I ask someone if they want to do something and they say sounds great. I’m free almost all of the time so I say let me know when works for you but never hear back. I only have one person I ever ask to do anything because he will say no if he isn’t going to do it. A slightly more controversial but funny one is I stopped saying bless you when people sneeze. We’ve been conditioned that it is polite to say but why? I questioned it to myself one day and then just stopped doing it.
