I know, I know, I’m preaching to the choir here, we ALL want to get away, we all want to disappear into some far off place right now. COVID has snuck in and so drastically changed the landscape of our lives, it’s hard feeling anything other than landlocked and a bit cabin fever-y. What I do know is this: There’s hope on the horizon, and I firmly believe that the world’s gonna open again, that we’re going to remember our feet and find our wings and land on some distant shores before too long. The wonderful thing is, when we finally do, we’ll never again take it for granted. At least I won’t, not ever, ever again.
After the events in my life in 2020, there is so much I will never take for granted again. After a very serious knee injury early this year, I'm looking forward to hiking in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana again someday. ❤
I'm from Michigan, but currently living in Germany as an Au pair. I arrived here one week before everything with COVID began, and we're headed into another quarantine for the month of November. Looking forward to your words of hope during this time.
Never. ❤️

My wandering heart is straining at the reins. Can’t wait to step on new streets again.
Perfectly said!
There is hope on the horizon friends. ❤️

The longer the need
For stillness swarms
The louder we buzz
With wanderlust within
The stronger the desire
To break free
I will never agin take for granted the kind handshake or hug from a stranger.
